Wembley

On 30 April, some students from the senior school went to Wembley Stadium.

When we arrived we were taken on a tour around the stadium. We had access to the England changing rooms and were able to sit where the players would sit before a match.

We were lucky to have a very good tour guide who knew all about the stadium and explained a bit about all the things we were able to see including; the pitch area, the tunnel, the Bobby Moore monument and even got to hold the F.A. Cup.

Some of us were invited to talk on behalf of the school to Kent Radio about the day, which was also exciting.

We had a great dat and learnt a lot about the game of football.

GCSE Drama

A huge congratulations to all of the Year 11 GCSE Drama Students for their fantastic performances on 13 May. The standard was wonderful and I hope that the external examiner enjoyed them as much as I did.

A big thank you must go to Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Groblaar, Mrs. Jerrom, Mrs. Osborn, Mr. Christou and Ms. Kacouris for their suopport.

The Drama Department wishes them every success for the rest of their examinations.

Proposed Ski Trip to the USA 2009

Should there be sufficient interest, we are proposing to organise a trip for pupils from Year 6 upwards to a ski resort on the Eastern seaboard of the United States during the Easter break 2009. Provisional pricing indicates that the cost of the trip would be in the region of £999 per pupil.

Should you be interested in your child participating in this trip, I should be grateful if you would complete the tear off slip at the bottom of the recent letter you received, and return it to the school by Monday 28th April.

After assessing interest, a final decision will then be taken as to the trip's viability.
